What does the procedure entail?

Mesotherapy involves the injection of small doses of medicinal substances into the areas affected by hair loss. The cocktail is selected individually to meet the needs of the patient. Injections are made with a very thin needle, thanks to which the procedure is not painful and does not require anesthesia.

Just one treatment brings improvement, but we usually recommend a series of 3–5 repetitions at 3- or 4-week intervals (Dr. Cyj) or 10 repetitions at weekly intervals (NCTC, NCTF) followed by 1 treatment every 1–2 months to maintain the results.

After treatment

For 1–3 days, the skin may be slightly swollen and red, and minor bruises may appear. All symptoms disappear spontaneously.

• On the day of the procedure, do not wash your hair and scalp.
• Do not use the pool or sauna for the next 7 days.

Results

The improvement of hair density and quality can be seen after a minimum of 4 weeks. It is always recommended to perform a series of treatments, and then periodic (as recommended by the doctor) so-called refresher treatments that will maintain the results longer. Mesotherapy is not only a method that inhibits baldness, but also one that improves the density and quality of thin and delicate hair, often chosen by women.
